Nature is always fascinating. I’ve been exploring lately with a different kind of underwater photography, finding hidden treasures on the reef, different tones of colours, creatures that I had never seen under the regular light. It is all done using a different kind of light to make certain protein on the organisms react, using a filter you block the same light that you are using (I know, sounds weird), but the result is only the reaction of the organism itself to the fluorescent light.
The reef turns into a completely different scene, with greens, oranges and yellows predominating in the reactions. Some creatures are really easy to spot even if they are masters of camouflage. It is also impressive to see how much live there is in the sand, creatures that we could never see with bare eyes.
