Alejandro Gutiérrez Murillo
Alejandro is a Colombian Underwater Photographer. Always looking to learn and experiment with new creative methods, has focus his work around the fascinating marine world. Since 2011 is living permanently on the beautiful island of Bonaire in the Dutch Caribbean where he has been able to blend successfully two of his passions, photography and the sea.
Despite the fact that is a professional diver, most of his work has been done while free-diving (holding his breath), he’s convinced that through this technique, the approach to ocean creatures becomes more natural and the interaction and communication with them goes deeper, allowing to capture special and unique moments underwater.
Floor van Schalkwijk
Floor moved to Bonaire from her home country of The Netherlands in 2018. Haunted by the beauty of it’s reefs she spent some time teaching scuba diving for different dive schools on the island. She had experience as a photographer on land, but underwater required a whole new set of skills that quickly developed with dedication and passion. Floor loves capturing “first time moments” on the ocean whether it is snorkeling or diving so they can be kept and shared.
Besides photography she also participates actively in other environmental projects and programs with Sea Turtle Conservation Bonaire and Wildconscience.
